Vice-President & Director of Innovation

Prior to helping start SCPG, Jennifer had 25 years of experience working with Hoechst Celanese, Invista, and Indorama in a series of roles including chemical engineering, product & market development, and R&D manager.  She is a proud alumnus of North Carolina State University. 

Sherwood (Woody) Morris

Cowpens Site Leader

Woody has an extensive 30-year background in all types of manufacturing roles, from furniture building to chemical reactors in textiles, films, adhesives, and other markets.  His experience includes many manufacturing leadership roles including first responder, shift leader, and 5-years as a site leader for another small manufacturing site in Greenville SC.

Jeff has held numerous businesses & sales roles throughout his 20-plus years in the polymer, plastics, and wax industries.  His most recent business success was to build a plant known as SCPG - in five years this has tripled in size and become our current NeuWax plant.

EDO Waxes, a subsidiary of Shamrock Technologies, and South Carolina Polymer Group (SCPG) announce a joint venture to specialize in the manufacture and distribution of oxidized wax.

The newly formed company, NeuWax, will be headquartered in Cowpens, SC.

The NeuWax joint venture will manufacture and oxidize specialty high-density polyethylene waxes. Key applications include emulsions, graphic arts/OPV, plastic processing, metal coatings and release agents, as well as textile and floor finishes.

Jeff Wardat, president of NeuWax, says, “With our partner’s analytical knowledge of the micronized wax and emulsions markets, and with SCPG’s wax manufacturing expertise, NeuWax is poised to become a key player in oxidized wax.
